In collaboration with the Office of the President, I design commemorative booklets for new buildings on campus. The images below represent the Hill Welcome Center and Schingoethe Center brochure kit. This piece included soft touch aqueous coating, foil stamping, and embossing.

Welcome Center Brochure Kit

Welcome Center Brochure Kit

Composed of a pocket folder and two commemorative booklets, the Welcome Center brochure kit shares the stories of donors who made this new campus building possible. It celebrates current gifts while inspiring future giving. The folder cover (above, left) includes an overall soft touch aqueous coating. The gold elements were foil stamped and embossed. The folder interior (above, right) includes luxury paper, metallic gold ink, and a custom die cut for the pockets. The goal of this project is twofold. It serves as a keepsake for donors who contributed to construction of this building and also serves as a visitor’s guide. Below please find three sample spreads from the booklets.

Admit Package

Admit Package

This is a self-mailing brochure that is sent to students when they are admitted to the university. I designed this piece to align with our brand standards, yet feel more exclusive than our standard brochures. In order to do so, I paired an overall soft touch aqueous coating with a metallic green foil stamp for the words “a Spartan?” on the cover pictured above. It is important to generate a feeling of suspense for the recipient, so the brochure is designed with brief, yet powerful statements on each panel. The roll fold format allows the recipient to roll the brochure down panel by panel (shown below). The bottom of the brochure contains a pocket with an official acceptance letter, a “next steps” handout, and a hashtag to generate conversation on social media.
